Quick steps
Change country on iPhone
In current settings, open Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Country/Region. If View Account appears, open it first. Labels and intermediate screens can vary by iOS version.
- Open your store country settings.
Sign in to your Apple Account if asked.
- Choose the new country or region.
Review and accept the terms if you agree.
- Enter payment and billing details if Apple asks.
“None” is available only if it appears on your screen. It avoids choosing a payment method; it does not remove any billing, address, or contact fields Apple still requires. Use real information only.
- Check the new storefront.
Open the App Store and see whether the app can be downloaded or updated. Changing country does not guarantee availability.
Do not change the iPhone’s Language & Region setting to reach an app. It changes device preferences, not the Apple Account storefront.
Before you confirm
What may block a country change
- Account balance. Apple asks you to spend any remaining balance. If it is too small to buy an item, follow Apple’s instructions or contact Support.
- Subscriptions. Cancel only subscriptions that block the change, then wait until the paid period ends. Do not cancel everything blindly.
- Pending activity. Pre-orders, rentals, Season Passes, unfinished memberships, or refunds may delay the change.
- Family Sharing. Membership in a family group may be a blocker. Consider the effect on shared purchases and subscriptions before leaving.
- Payment and address. Apple may require a valid payment method and billing address for the new country. If you do not have an acceptable method and None is not offered, do not use someone else’s details or make up information.
- Content availability. Apps and purchases vary by country. Check that you can download or update the content you need in the new storefront.
Check your storage use and the consequences first. If your data exceeds the available limit, syncing and backups may stop. For Apple One and other subscriptions, check exactly what is blocking the change.
If you only need HES VPN
Check your app options before changing country
Incy is currently unavailable for download from the Russian App Store. That refers to download availability in this storefront; it does not mean an already installed app is broken. Based on current information, subscription import remains available in installed Incy. Do not delete it just to reinstall before checking availability.
- Wrabbit Proxy is available in the Russian App Store for iPhone with iOS 16 or later and supports the VLESS, REALITY, and XHTTP formats used by HES VPN. Open the listing ↗
- Incy has a US App Store listing, but that does not mean it is available in the Russian storefront. Open the US listing ↗
If you have actually moved and do not want to enter a payment method, Apple advises waiting until you are physically in the new country and creating a new Apple Account. The App Store sign-up flow may offer “None,” but it is not guaranteed in every situation. A new account does not automatically move purchases or subscriptions from the old one. Enter only real details Apple asks for.
