iPhone and the App Store
Listings depend on your Apple Account country
On October 29, 2026, Wrabbit Proxy and V2Pro were available in the Russian storefront; Happ Global and Incy opened listings for other storefronts.
Human Rights Watch reports that Apple removed several popular VPN apps from its App Store in March 2026. The removal notice shared by v2RayTun’s developer cited a Roskomnadzor demand; Apple later told HRW it must follow the laws where it operates or risk losing the ability to distribute content in Russia. If the listing is not available
Consider options that do not require a country change
- On iPhone, first look at apps in your current storefront. If you already have a client installed, you can check its import options before deleting it.
- For Android, Happ offers Google Play and an official direct APK. The APK lets you install Happ without relying on a Google Play listing. Android may show a system installation confirmation; use the link from Happ’s official site.
Changing your Apple Account country can affect purchases, subscriptions, and payment options. If you still need that route, read the App Store country guide and Apple’s requirements first. Do not enter made-up billing or address details.
What you pay for
An app price is not the price of VPN access
Many VPN clients are free to download; payment usually goes to the provider for server access. HES VPN currently offers 30 days for 110 ₽ or 90 days for 300 ₽ (100 ₽ per month). Terms and included features can change, so compare duration, profiles, traffic, device count, and support for each provider.
A separate free client and subscription may cost less than an “app + VPN” bundle. You choose a plan and provider for your needs. If you want to switch to another provider, add its link to the same client if that client supports the subscription format.
HES VPN’s trial and current plans are listed on the sign-up page.
